Supporting local communities is one of initiatives that OSI FOLAND FOODWORKS eagerly engages in. COVID-19 pandemic has left many individuals in desperate need of help, so we couldn’t just sit by and watch.
At the beginning of April, we made a donation to Provincial Polyclinic Hospital in Leszno to support the purchase of needed protective gear.
Also, a public school in Witoszyce, was gifted hand sanitizers, face masks and gloves to make children feel safer.
We have additionally supported our local food bank in Leszno and donated 30 kilograms of beef. The food bank has been very active in the field of charity work for 19 years. It helps the elderly, who are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19, endure the hard time. The organization focuses on obtaining food supplies and distributing food care packages and preparing meals, which are then sent to retirement homes.
