One of the largest investments of recent years was launched in November 2019 at the Chróścina plant. The livestock reception warehouse, which will start operating in November, has been rebuilt.
As a result of the expansion, the warehouse space has doubled. The old part has been renovated - a new floor has been poured and the walls have been repainted. The new warehouse is characterized by modern solutions. Sliding air curtains, mechanical exhaust ventilation, new water and electrical installations, and most importantly, new fencing for animals were installed. An office for administration was also established.
The aim of the investment was to meet the highest production standards by improving the process of perception of animals, reducing the waiting time of drivers for unloading and improving the conditions of temporary storage of animals - says Marek Dudzinski, director of the purchasing department.
All activities will affect the comfort and welfare of animals, improve the reception process and facilitate the work of the people responsible for the warehouse, above all increasing their safety.
Each stage of production at OSI POLAND FOODWORKS is characterized by a high safety standard. Thanks to continuous development, new investments and modernization of the plant, we can implement our mission to ensure that our customers receive beef of the highest quality.
